Deliverance Chronicles Kundalini Back Pain

Grace and peace, everybody. I am so grateful you’ve decided to join this conversation. I know many of you have to get up early for work, so we are going to dive straight into a topic that is foundational yet often misunderstood:Who is the Holy Ghost?

In many circles, there is a lot of noise, literally and figuratively, surrounding the Spirit of God. We see manifestations in churches that range from the beautiful to the bizarre, and it leaves many believers wondering what is actually of God and what is simply human emotion or tradition. Tonight, we are going to explore the administrative force of the Godhead—Father, Spirit, and Son—and learn how to distinguish the true Holy Spirit from the counterfeits.

Defining the Holy Spirit: Personhood and Administration

One of the first things we must understand is that the Holy Ghost is aperson. He is not a "vibe," a feeling, or a generic force. He is the administrative force that operates within the Godhead. In the Greek, the word used for the Holy Spirit is Paraclete, which means "the one who walks with you."

The Holy Spirit was sent when Jesus ascended to bring us into all truth. He is a guide, an instructor, and a companion. However, it is vital to understand that God is not a dictator. He does not control you or override your will. When the Spirit speaks, it is often described as astill, small voice. He provides instructions, but He leaves the choice of obedience to us.

What the Holy Ghost is NOT

To understand who the Holy Spirit is, we must first address what He is not. Growing up in Pentecostal traditions, many of us saw behaviors that were attributed to the Holy Ghost but were actually rooted in traditionalism or religious spirits. It is time to get the record straight:

  • Uncontrollable Behavior:The Holy Ghost does not make you run into walls or dance so uncontrollably that people have to form a fence around you.

  • Loss of Self-Control:One of the fruits of the Spirit isself-control. If a manifestation takes you completely out of control, you must question its source.

  • Religious Theater:Much of what we see in modern churches is "traditionalism"—people doing what they think they are supposed to do because they saw someone else do it.

The Spirit of God brings order, truth, and peace. If a behavior doesn't align with the character of God, it isn't the Spirit of God.

The Necessity of Discernment

We live in a time where discernment is no longer optional; it is a matter of survival. I often think back to the tragic event involving Dylan Roof in that South Carolina church. A man sat in a Bible study with the intent to harm everyone there, yet it seems no one in that room discerned his intent. If the Spirit of the Lord is in us, we should have a level of awareness that transcends the natural.

Many of us relegate the Spirit to a "gut feeling." You might say, "My gut told me something was wrong," or "Something told me not to go there." We need to stop giving credit to our digestive systems and start acknowledging the unction of the Holy Spirit. When you feel that internal check, that is the Spirit of God attempting to bring you into truth and safety. We must stop denying His influence and start leaning into His voice.

How God Communicates

God is not restricted to the mediums we think He should use. He can speak through a myriad of ways:

  • The Word:This is the primary way we learn His voice.

  • Internal Promptings:Sometimes it’s a specific word. For example, I recently woke up hearing the word"Viceroy,"which prompted me to study its meaning and see what God was saying.

  • Unconventional Mediums:God has used secular songs (like "More Than Words" by Extreme) and even a donkey in the Bible to get a message across.

We must be careful not to reject the message just because we don't like the "mailman." God will use whoever and whatever He chooses.

Overcoming Self-Disqualification

A major trick of the enemy is to make you believe you aren't worthy to be a mouthpiece for God. We often use the world's standards to disqualify ourselves, but God’s standards are different.God does not pour Himself into a mess; He pours Himself into a vessel He has already qualified.

Look at the biblical record:

  • He chose Rahab, a woman of ill repute.

  • He chose David, the youngest son who was rejected by his own family.

  • He chose Paul, a Pharisee who had persecuted the church, to author much of the New Testament.

If God chose them, He can choose you. Don't let your past or your current struggles stop you from being used by Him. Repent, move on, and walk in the authority He has given you.

Testing the Spirits: Prophets and Counterfeits

We are currently in a season where self-appointed leaders are everywhere. Just because someone can prophesy or provide an accurate "word" does not mean they are a prophet of God. Remember, evenBalamwas accurate, andJezebelcalled herself a prophetess.

How do we spot the counterfeit? Look for the

Jezebel spirit, which often disguises itself within the church. This spirit is frequently intertwined with materialism—what I call the "Louis, Gucci, Red Bottom" prophets. If someone's "blessing" is always denoted by material possessions rather than spiritual character, watch out. We must not elevate men and women of God over the Spirit of God. Do not validate someone because they make you "feel" something; validate them based on the truth of the Word.

Scriptural Foundations for the Holy Spirit

To truly know the Holy Spirit, we must look at what the Word says about His role in our lives. Here are key scriptures to study:

1. Your Body as a Temple

1 Corinthians 6:19:"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own."

The moment you accept the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, you no longer belong to yourself. This means your decisions, your appearance, and your actions should be filtered through Christ’s approval. If you don't belong to yourself, you don't make moves without instructions.

2. Power for Witnessing

Acts 1:8:"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses..."

The primary purpose of the Holy Spirit's power is to make you a witness. It isn't just about the "shout" or the "dance"; it’s about being a living testimony of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.

3. The Gift of the Spirit

Acts 2:38:"Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

The Spirit is a gift available to everyone who chooses to repent and receive Him. It is not reserved for a "spiritual elite."

4. The Seven Manifestations

Isaiah 11:2:This verse describes the Spirit of the Lord resting upon Him—the Spirit ofwisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and thefear of the Lord. This is the "administration" of God working through us.

Key Takeaways for the Believer

  • Know the Voice:Spend time in the Word so you can distinguish God's voice from your own thoughts or the enemy’s lies.

  • Walk in Obedience:Stop making excuses for personal convictions. When the Spirit tells you something isn't right, listen.

  • Do the Work:Breakthrough requires sacrifice. You cannot rely on the fasted lives of others to do the work for you. You must live a life of sacrifice and communion yourself.

  • Discern the Source:Not every spiritual manifestation is from the Holy Spirit. Test everything against the fruit of the Spirit and the Word of God.

Conclusion

The Holy Spirit is our greatest asset on this earth. He is the Paraclete who walks beside us, the Counselor who guides us, and the Power that enables us to be witnesses for Christ. We must strip away the religious traditions and the "theater" of the modern church to rediscover the true, quiet, and powerful person of the Holy Ghost.

If you have been disqualifying yourself or ignoring that "still, small voice," today is the day to realign. Stop belonging to yourself and start belonging to the Spirit who dwells within you.
